Manual transmission?

Most V8 fords from that era only had automatic transmissions, unless you went for the custom badge which normally had an I6 with either auto or manual.
And my MR2 was only released in manual unless you got one imported from japan.

 

How do you change modes in the new version?

 

Did you seriously have to bump a thread that's been silent since October 2013?
Press Q to change transmission modes.
Press LShift to use the clutch.
Press X to shift up.
Press Z to shift down.

When i hit the brakes, it will not reverse. Did they get rid of the arcade automatic?

No. Keep pressing Q to cycle through the modes.

 

I was using the Sunburst Police Package. It only has automatic and manual
I had it on automatic though.

 

If the car has an automatic or CVT, there is Arcade Automatic and Real Automatic.
If the car has a manual, there is Arcade Automatic, Manual automatic clutch and Manual.
If the car has a DCT, there is Arcade Automatic, Real Automatic and Manual automatic clutch.

 

if my "q" button is being used for changing car parts (car moding) what button do i use to change cars driving mode?
Btw my version is 0.3.0.5. do i need update for manual gear changing?

 

Yes! Current version is 5.1.0, you're several years out of date.
