Mod totally not working, says something about a file missing and crashes the game when I try the engines, changes the sound for the stock engine, so I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same really quiet shitty sound for all the other engines

I'm not trying to be mean with my review, I just think there is definitely some room for improvement. And also I said in my review that the annoying high pitched noises were at low boost pressure but it actually appears to be at very low RPMs, just above idle.
The L15 Turbo sound can't be fixed, might be adjusted to reduce the noise. The Destroid turbo sound will be changed completely (as well as tuned before, or on 1.1. The idle is silent because of the game, because if you go to the files to hear it, it's loud.
When I say gas I mean like just a standard non-diesel engine + sound, (like the game has now) but I would like to see if you switch from say a D15 v8 normal petrol engine to a D35 v8 Diesel engine it would sound different, like a diesel! Rather then them both sounding the same.
Both engines in this pack sound different. My upcoming Barstow F2 mod will have that thing you're talking about.
He's talking about if you could create a mod, where each engine sounds different. The only problem is, you will have to make a mod that overwrites some stock BeamNG.drive files. So making a mod that does this, it could break the vehicle that has been modded when the game updates.
My Barstow is different than the original Barstow in-game. Mine is a standalone vehicle, which allows me to have several individual sounds for each engine. That is because it doesn't overwrite the original game files. This can be done with the D-Series as well. Just make a separate vehicle of it. The reason why this isn't recommended with the game's originals, is because you then overwrite some game files.

I can. And since a lot of people suggested, i will add an old Detroit Diesel petrol engine. Thanks for suggesting though.
Wonderful, now I can drive up the mountain in my Tennessee map and not get stuck @ 40mph on a 65~70mph highway. Sheesh! Also will come in super handy for pulling a barn off it's foundation, should I find I've built one in the wrong spot
If they fix the sound grouping, yeah, for sure. If they don't, then i'll just do an update for fixing the engines (because of the 0.8 update).
