So, after a couple weeks working on this car, i decided to post here in the forum what i've done so far, keep in mind that i have tried to do other two cars but i failed and give up, im not so sure if i will finish this one, but i really wanted, this is the third car that i try to do, and i still have lots of things to learn, and im atually happy what ive done so far. here's the car:
well i dont work on the car every day, there are some days, or even weeks that i dont touch on the model, i just dont feel like modelyng some days, but maybe thats the reason that i give up on some projects, i will try my best to have more dedication to this project, i really wanted to finish this.
Sweet I got one in real life and the first two things I noticed is that the wheel wells stick out with a too big angle. I don't know how to format that sentence in another way... And that the ass of it looks a bit too rounded on the edges. I can give you as many reference pictures as you want if you need to. Like a closeup of the wheel wells and top-down pics of the rear corners.
thx that would be very helpful, i have some but not all the show the spots that i really want, now im doing the bodyshell, so it will be dificult to you taking photos on that.
Finally, someone started making a GOOD Golf Mk1! The other 2 didn't look good at all (no offense to the creators) compared to this. Great work.
What parts do you want pictures of? My car has been sitting for a while and I've planned to fix it up so it doesn't look very nice, but it's not badly dented or got any warped body panels so it should be good enough for reference. My pc hard drive is just broken, so i need to backup everything and then trying to fix it so, until is not fixed this project will be on hold unfortannaly, so when i got my PC back i will keep working on this project. (i got the model files so no worries )
You got an infraction because you bumped a year old thread with an already useless post. Normal bumps don't et infractions. And this one's justified, he's asking about the project.

Not so good as you think, the back is kinda bad modeled, not the right shape... and then some shadows problems causing by some multiple vertices, on the same position... the brakes, engine, suspension, transmission, wheels, etc... was taken from covet, gabe modeled all that, not me.
