Lately my game has been running out of memory constantly and I have no idea why. It has been a downward spiral happening more and more frequently lately. I've tried reinstalling the game multiple times and have still had the same issue. I also do not have any lavasoft products as this seems to have caused it for others. My system is 64x with 16gb of ram and the game is running on 64x. My computer was not actually using all of my memory when it would shut down the game (only about 50%) and I've tried allocating more ram to steam but this hasn't helped.

After a couple of times of reinstalling and uninstalling I am now stuck at a point where my computer is using nearly 100% of it's CPU when running the game rather than memory and its running the game at less than 1 fps. Any help on either of these issues would be much appreciated and it may just be a problem with my pc I'm not sure. Below is an image of what is currently occurring. Thanks!

edit: i reinstalled steam updated java and nvidia drivers and everything seems to be working again.

    What CPU do you have?

Also are you running the game in x64 mode? If the game is crashing due to out of memory and your PC isnt using all of its memory, its probably that your game is running in 32bit mode (thus having a 2-4gb limit)

And yes I believe the game is running the 64 bit version because it says x64 at the top of the screen when running in windowed mode however I'm not entirely sure that it's truly running in 64bit.

It's ok i already fixed the problem. I think that I just needed to update my nvidia drivers and java.

I tried using the set launch bar in properties to allocate more ram. I have no idea if actually made a difference or not and I've since reset it.
