Yeah dunno what thats called, dont think it was offered in many if any british cars. Only know of 3 that do it myself, BMW i8, Tesla Model S, Tesla Model X
It's from "Webasto". Could be upgraded later on or it could be original from the factory. Ford used Webasto as far as i know. //Edit: Must be called "parking heater".
Cleaned it Put on the GAVRIL logo, just to see how it looked. Re-finished the wooden cup holder and put in rubber bottoms. Made a few custom keychains and a key hook.
Nope, just cheap. When you don't have much money to spend, you end up getting pretty good at making things yourself.
I've forged a set of coathooks on a blacksmithing course before, but I may have to find a way to copy that sparkplug some time.
Washed it. In preparation to a visit to the body shop tomorrow. They'll fix a dent caused by a panel van hitting me on the left side during a motorway trip a few days ago... Yay...
Well, the starter on the Red Cummins is NOT the problem I thought that it was, Now I'm pretty well convinced that there is some kind of fairly major electrical issue somewhere in this truck, which is unfortunate, as the only two electrical things needed to make it it run, are the starter, and the shutoff solenoid, to kill it. And, I cleaned the interior out as well.
Drove to my mom today and made some random pics: reached 90.000km Bahrebachviadukt (they widened the Autobahn, and to easy drive through, they build a tunnel under it)
Fixed the indicator light again, The bulb keeps coming loose everytime the car goes off-road and gets launched up steep embankments lel I'm thinking of changing the taillights to a LED setup, It'd be heaps brighter and the kits I've been looking up are just a plug and play to the existing loom so installation is easy as piss. Also just gave her a bit of a clean up Recently just did a full suspension upgrade, My old shocks had their glory days and there was pretty much no return in them, My setup is a 4" Lift. When I brought the kit for it I brought a set of 4" shocks as well as springs, Well as it turns out the shocks they gave me in the package were only 2". So now on flat ground the shocks are topped out, Still has some decent suspension articulation though. So yeah that's a thing
The c10 started misfiring due to lack of rings and working lifters. So I traded the c10 for a 1979 Mercury Cougar XR-7. Another even trade. 351ci with an auto trans. Everything works too.
