Looked for the light bulbs in my Mondeo V6 for the inside. Wanna replace them all with LED's.

And fixed both, the light for the backseat and the boot. Both struggled sometimes due to the Rust on the contacts.

Replaced my last engine mount, taped in a 960 MAF, etc. Had some wiring issues but I got it started and it ran better than it has in weeks. I was super happy. Then it died at a stop sign and the starter stopped engaging.

I want to die. Every time I fix something a new problem starts.

Sorry about the shit quality, I didn't record it so yeah.

Was a lot of fun, broke a lot of stuff, fixed a lot of stuff, and got really dirty in the process.

Found a Probe with V6, manual and AC, so just had to buy it. Was afraid that it would bring back bad memories from the crash in my previous one but luckily it's not the case. It does need some work so its probably going to sit through winter, meanwhile my BMW is getting near perfect condition. Originally planned to exhange the BMW for the Ford, but the BMW is just in too good of a condition. Today in particular I changed the stereo in the Probe and stripped my Mazda 626 from the remaining goodies in it. Speakers and wires for an amplifier. Gonna sell it soon I hope.

Below are a pic of the newly bought Probe and my wehicle park without my old Probe.

It's funny, I could have ended up with a Probe instead of a Sunbird. You know what flipped it? The seats. The Probe's seats are brick hard, while the Sunbird's (and, apparently, the Cavalier's) approach M-B levels of comfy. Not the choice I would have made, but said choice was made by my mother back in 1993 when I didn't even exist and lap times did not really factor into her decision. That's how I ended up with a J-body instead of a hidden gem worthy of being mentioned in the same sentence as the Integra and Miata.

I'm not really sore over it. Memetic laughingstock it may be, but I really like this little car, and you can't argue with free.

Heh, most people are surprised I put atleast 7000km a month on my car, sometimes 400-500km in a day city driving. It's not even my work commute that does it. I drive 15km to work and back, I just like going around driving all day when I'm not working.

Your is a proper high mileage, but for a 18 years old unemployed guy 2000 km may seem a lot :)

    Man fuck. Always me.

I wanted some new alloy rims with 4x108 Ford style.

Ended up with buying a full Mondeo. The owner which sold it to me had 2 x 4 Alloys from the Scorpio. Got them with the Mondeo.

So.. 2 times 4 alloy wheels.

The car itself is a 1998 Mondeo 1.6 with Climate and a Recaro driver seat.

Got a nice upgrade with a "parking heater?" Not sure how its named in english. Heats your car when its parked. :D Nice comfy winters coming. I'll probably fix it and take it as winter bitch.

The Keys are missing, i'll maybe have to fuck around with the anti theft system. But thats not that big deal :) Brakes and coupling rods are bad also. Funny little project. If it fails, i'll again have a lot of spare parts :D

@InFiNiTy That "parking heater" is called an engine block heater.
