This is still a reproducible problem in v0.6.1. @Nadeox1 does this function correctly for you? For me it opens the game but never attempts to install the selected mod.
IF the game is closed, and you press that button, it will only open the game. IF the game is already running, and you press that button, it will install the mod.
The muffler on the Extended Cab D-Series clips through a frame member. NO MODS. Tested using Extended Cab Off-Road.
very interesting... good eyes... It is some glitches they tend to have. did you try to reset it? I'll check. the devs should fix it if they see it. --- Post updated --- try to clear the catch
If you're talking about the muffler clipping through a frame member, that is still there on a fresh spawn and resetting.
yes i saw it. unfortunately they were too lazy D: they need to fix it... i looked inside the pipe and it is not clear through...
Thanks for testing and confirming the problem. I've just tested the second scenario on my end - sure enough, if the game is already open the when you click the "Install" link then the mod will be installed. The first scenario worked correctly with previous versions of the game, so this is a regression. :-(
So, quick thought: since the replay system seems to store node positions and saves to an external file, wouldn't that mean that the groundwork for persistent vehicle damage is, by and large, already laid? Granted, there's no mode yet to use such a thing in, but isn't that a good chunk of the work?
Yes, it's a bug that came out again, it has to be fixed Not entirely sure, but that thing only stores node position. It doesn't store any other properties AFAIK (Beam deformation, Broken Beams, etc) This. @JoshTheAwesome Please, DO READ the first post. We keep a list for this reason, avoid countless reports of the same bug. It just clutters the thread and the forum.
[PAGING @Nadeox1] I don't know if this has ever been noticed, but the exhaust on the Extended Cab D-Series clips through a chassis frame member. No mods were used. This occurs on all Extended Cab versions of the D-Series. This also occurs on a fresh spawn and respawn.
Terrain painter on eca doesn´t work even with highest pressure, but I changed min slope to 0 and it worked.
NODE/BEAM INFO : BROKEN (dont know why the rollcage is broken) OFFSET WHEEL : DEFORMATION : The SBR4 Engine seems to break really easy when there is a sideways hit on the rear axle...this was a very minor impact, under 100 Km/h (under 60 mph), not that much damage. But still, the engine was dead. Im not sure if this was intentional or not, but i think that it happens to easy. --------------------------UPDATE-------------------------UPDATE--------------------------UPDATE------------------------------- NEW TESTING RESULTS : T-Boned an SBR4 AWD TT S2 (so it isnt just the hillclimb) *Crashing vehicle: Civetta Bolide *Target: Rear Axle(hit on the right side) *Weapon: Right Edge of Bolide Nosecone *Speed: 50 km/h (31 Mph) *Result: Engine Damaged NODE/BEAM INFO : DEFORMATION :
I'm not sure if this is just in my head, but after the .6 updates all cars seem to have ludicrous amounts of torque as compared to previous versions. To the point that in almost every case engines produce more torque than horse powers. Turbo seem to compound this and further the gap, is this just me or is the 200bx supposed to be capable of like 800+ ft/lbs of torque? And as a side affect it seems all the stage 3 and 4 boost options simply can't be contained by anything less than a modded transmission. Again is this all in my head, or is this an error, bug, glitch, or etc?
