    Here's a large 4K screenshot showing of the 4 plate types i've finished so far.

    All are fully configureable (Letters, Numbers, Dashes)

    From Left to Right:
    1. Old-style font Lobster plate (1989-1993) These primarily had the 5-Number, 1-Letter Combination, although this changed near the end.
    2. New-style font Lobster plate (1994-1996) These used the 4-Number, 2-Letter Combinations.
    3. New-style font Lobster plate (1997-2000) Starting with 1997, the text was moved an inch to the right.
    4. New-style font Chickadee plate (2000-Present) These use the 4-Number, 2-Letter Combinations the lobster plates have been using. And has been unchanged in layout since it was introduced.

    Now that i've got the 1990s, 2000s and 2010s covered. I'll start working on the 1980s plates.

    (Yes the tags on most of those license plates are expired, the old plates are mainly for roleplay purposes, as vehicles switch out to the modern plates when they come out)

    So making a working train was actually way easier than I thought it would be :)

    I have tried a design using only 1 wheel per car to maximise fps. Should allow for driving an 8 car train without too drastic an impact on fps. This is similar to the rigs of rods style of train design for those of you who are not familiar with it. There are no cheats here, the train really is running on these rails (though the collision mesh on the corner has 90 1 degree segments rather than the 18 5 degree segments that are used in the visible mesh.)

    the HAWT image is a bit unclear so i decided to post some older pics of the finished body shape.

    i'm really , really happy with the result.

    atm , it has a closed soft top on the rear which @Bernd did for me. thanx<3 and a new grille.

    how the car was designed

    It all started on my vacations in poland. i was bored and thought about which cars i could make when i come back. so i sketched a moonhawk convertible and liked it.

    i wanted to give it a bit of a unique shape. so it wasn't just cutting the roof and fill holes with vertices. i've moved the rear 'line' a bit more up , to give it a nice speedster-ish illusion when you look from a certain angle at it. (you can see it the best on the first rear pic) and this turned out prettywell imo. (remember that his is my first-ever convertible conversion ;) )
