Mods are not installing

Hello, I am having trouble running mods for BeamNG drive. I have followed the wiki and it launches the game when I press the green install button, but it doesn't show up in the mod selector in-game. I have restarted the game and even manually installed them. Any suggestions?

Actually Im having the same issue, along with downloading the "Ocean Side" map and it showing up activated in my mods, but not showing up in the level selector. Already tried doing it manually with a couple other different mods but it does the same thing, shows up activated in the mods but within the vehicle or level selector its not there.

 

Is it every single mod you install that dosen't work ? What version of BeamNG are you running(Lower right corner, in the main menu),

 

So far its doing this to all mods Ive tried installing. My version is 0.6.1.0.2748 , I just downloaded the game no more than a week ago and Ive been having this trouble ever since

 

Hmm, that is indeed strange.

Have you tried:
Vertifying integrity of game cache(If you got the game from steam)
Reinstalling the game ?

When you say you have tried installing it manually, does that mean you downloaded the zip file and put it in the mods folder located in documents ?

When you install a mod, does it show up in the mod manager ingame ?

Have you tried downloading them while the game is running? That way you can see the downloader. Also make sure to restart the game.

Yes when I said I installed them manually I meant through placing the zip file in the mods folder.

Yes the mods do show up in the in game mod manager.

I have cleared the cache once.

I tried downloading them both while the game is closed and when open, it shows them downloading when opened.

Restarted the game every time I tried to download a mod

My next step will be to reinstall the game and continue from there. Thank you for all the assistance you have provided

I followed through with uninstalling the game, my problem now is the game wont re-install. Now that I'm thinking about it, I have about 4 security systems running on my computer at once, and maybe shutting them off might just help. I feel really idiotic for continuing to write this post as I finally figured out that my Avast security was reading the install for BeamNG as malware, and stopping it. Its completing the install as I write, hopefully my original problem is fixed.

 

Just another update on whats happening;
I was able to re-install the game, but yet again the original issue of mods not downloading is still occurring. Im not really sure what to do at this point. Ive followed every step listed for "How To Download Mods", uninstalled the game, then re-installed and nothing has changed.

 

Tried deleting the mods folder after you replied, restarted the game, and then installed that exact mod but still the exact same problem is occurring

I've tried multiple, but the one I was speaking of specifically was the Hoverside Hovercar
