so the mainboard beeping is gone i dont know why. also what would be the best graphics card for my intel 6600k without price limits?
a 6600k, bottleneck, rofl. Nah, you are greatly overstating the existence of bottleneck. 6600 non k won't bottleneck a pair of them in SLI
The Furys are way worse in single application, but if anyone is ever rich enough to get two high-end cars, he should go with two Furys.
I kind of made an impulse buy today, an Asus ZX50V. Needed a new computer for school, and a microcenter flyer came today when I saw that deal for $750. It was 17:30, store closes at 21:00, it was a 45 minute drive there, and I leave the next morning at 7:30 for a 16 hour, 2 week trip. i7 6700hq, gtx 960m, 8 gb ram. Did I do good, or have I made a huge mistake? Old vs new:

Seems like a pretty reasonable deal to me for the price. Should run most games really well. Also if the AMD vision sticker is anything to go by your old laptop had an AMD CPU and thats just all sorts of bad. So yeah it should be a huge upgrade.
Cool. Had an A10 in my old thing. The HDD drive failed within 9 month of me owning it, so I had to replace it and never felt like ordering a new OEM software disc. I had an illegitimate copy of windows ever since, with the popup every 2 hours reminding me to activate. Also had huge temp problems, it would regularly get up to 120c idle. Also blue screened every 30 minutes. So yeah, anything would have been an upgrade.
Actually, you can pay 1500$ or more for those specs. An i7 is pretty much the best thing you can do when buying a gaming laptop. The 960m is maybe a bottleneck, but it's about 50%(?) better than the iGPU.
Too good to be true? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Windows-7...e3b94ba&pid=100005&rk=2&rkt=6&sd=302018476156
Its probably fine, I got a Windows 10 key for a laptop on ebay for £8 a while ago and its doing fine. I wouldn't be one to know where they get the keys but I wont complain for that price. Besides feedback looks fine and even if it was fake refunds on ebay are guaranteed for like 90 days after buying.
I'll probably buy it then, as the HDD completely died in my old laptop. Got a 128gb ssd now Currently running Ubuntu as a temporary OS. I am traveling to France on august 1st so I'd like a working laptop. It was also running so badly on Windows 10. A 4 year old HP Pavilion G6 2240sa.
That would have come with Windows 8. The key for it is embedded in the BIOS. If it actually did come with Windows 7, the key may be hidden under the battery.
