    the british train does not go 212 MPH

    Then tell me, what is the fastest train in BRITAIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN? Whats the model? Whats the top speed?

    I'm not a train expert, but passenger trains (particularly high-speed trains) seem to be very uncommon in North America compared to other parts of the world.

    TGV does not run that fast in revenue service. Do not tell me to shut up. The Acela was built by Bombardier-Alstom and reaches 170 mph in revenue service but the trainsets achieved 201 MPH in testing. Plus, our ACS-64's built by Siemens can pull 8 Amfleet cars to 135 MPH. Our P42DC diesel engines built by GE can hit 122 MPH. Beat that fool. I even have proof unlike you.

    All I'm saying is y'all need to calm down.

    Instead of saying "NO IM RIGHT!!1eleven!" just provide proof for your point on both sides of the argument and have a civil discussion, or debate if you will.

    the TGV reaches 250 in normal passenger services, and its top speed is 350.
