Considering that this is just a bodyshell with simple shapes to fill out the inner parts and beamng mechanical parts... Also that it has static colors and no actual textures... Yeah this could be a two day job. Just a thing, If you owned one, you'd know that barstow is more accurate mechanically.
Alright so I misread that, I forgot the Barstow even existed. I'll transfer the body over when I get the time. Thank you for pointing that out
man, the constructive criticism here seems a bit harsh... love the mod man, and exceptional job for a two-day project. one question: why is it a 10-speed? was that the original charger's transmission? if so, i had no clue
There's a joke with the fast and furious movies that they shift a lot, originally the car would've had either a 727 3 speed or an A833 4 speed transmission
yea, i just realized after i posted that that the 10-speed is called the f&f trans in the parts config and is supposed to be specific to the f&f car. had myself a laugh. but it's the default trans on most of the models afaik...
One problem that I've found though (so far). There is orange on the front grille frame and some of the taillights, unless the latter was the turn signals.
I didn't notice that for the initial release because I got in the habit of not shifting after 4th gear anyways.. Oops. I'll fix it when I update next. --- Post updated --- It looks like a missing texture error, and those are turn signals I forgot about on the bumper, thanks for letting me know
This car is amazing! the fact that it was made in just two days makes it all the more impressive. Nice work! put drag tires on the rear and it will do wheelies
I love the 1970 charger. --- Post updated --- can you make this plz https://www.google.com/search?q=roa...YHfBsMQ_AUIBigB&dpr=0.8#imgrc=Qg7GJXtFBfH7nM:
I have it installed in both the mod and vehicle folders, and it doesn't show up at all. Would releasing it as a mod, in the repository, work?
Try placing the zip in the stock vehicle folder too --- Post updated --- The stock folder where the default vehicles are located
If you're talking about putting the zip in "BeamNG.drive\content\vehicles\", then that's not advised. The "Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods" folder exists for this reason.
The only way you could make this better is if you included the frond and rear fascia of the 1968 Charger as options, and added more hood options ( hood scoop and cowled hood) and enabled users to remove the glass from the doors.
