    All,

I have no been able to find another like post. If this is a repeat, forgive me.
Problem I am having is the forum attachment download speed. Maps, cars, pictures -- all of that is very slow.
It has been this way since joining in the beginning of August.
I know the admin's have pushed and requested all files be attached for mods/uploads.

    Specific Speeds: 75-200Kb/s
Takes about 15mins to download a 100MB file.

Looks like beamng.com is hosted in Germany and I am in the US -- that may be a contributing factor.
Does anyone know if they have the attachments hosted anywhere else?

Any suggestions other than to move to Germany?

I'm in Italy, and I get the same DL speed. They have like, limited bandwidth. (It's even worse with updater, around 30-40kbs)

I'm all the way down in New Zealand and my download speeds are usually around 500kb/s. Sometimes they tend to slow down to 200kb/s. Doesn't bother me that much, faster downloads would be nice though

I usually get 5-10 kB/s from forum attachments. Opening a screenshot takes minutes and maps take hours to download.

Downloads from other sites are a few hundred kB/s here, so I think external mirrors for large files would be a good idea until the issue is fixed.

I get 500 - 1000 kb/s here in Brazil. I guess it's normal for me here, but sometimes it can get dropdowns from 0bp/s to 200kb/s.

Thanks for looking for the problem. Here a short feedback:

I´m from Germany (Provider is KabelBW) and i get from the forum Attachments only a speed from 80-100 kb/s at any time.
If i download with a download manager, the speed goes up - per segment ca. 100 kb/s but max ca. 500 kb/s.

The updater is faster, i get speed up to 2000 kb/s and more.

Edit: Today 9.9. - i got speed from the Attachments over 2000 kb/s :) It look like the problem is now solved. Thanks !

I seem to get around 200-300kbps on both the updater and forum. 40mbps normal, upload no longer works for me. :I
