Tech Demo proformance

I was wondering if the actual game is better preforming than the tech demo. It runs at about 35-40 fps tops and I was wondering if I could get 60 on the full game, plus I don't want to waste money.

Probably, there have been some massive improvements since the tech demo version in both the physics end and the GFX end.

 

Then again... The way it was for me, and still is for me, IF you have bad performance in the tech demo, its probably only gonna be worse with the full game.

Reason why I say that are 1; The maps, and 2; The cars.

If he is lagging in Gridmap, the tech demo map, it could be due to a really weak GPU, or a really weak CPU.

To tell which one is which, pause the physics. If your framerate goes up, your CPU is struggling.

If it doesn't, then its your GPU. Usually looking away from vegetation and static objects increases the frame-rate in this case, or resizing the game window.

And to cover your point on improvements, Thats simply not true. If anything its become harder for lets say a low end CPU to handle 2 cars at a playable framerate (AMD A85500 APU)
I only experienced worse and worse gameplay. Which is why I built a new PC with an i5 4690k.

But thats for another thread and another day to discuss my PC build.

To summarize, if you are lagging in the Tech Demo, its only going to be worse in the actual game.

For me, I got 60 fps on Tech demo, but in the game using the same map, I get like 30 fps. I have a intel i7 4 core @ 3.6 ghz and a gtx 745.
