When I use a manual tranmission in manual shifting mode it will make the engine run off. If i put it in reverse the RPMs dip to around 100 to 200 rpms and it doesnt want to move, i cant back up any incline itll just keep rolling down, it does the same in 1st gear too just not as badly. It doesnt do that in automatic or the guided shifting mode (where it changed gears for you)

Clutch. You aren't using the clutch properly

It's most likely because cars are not meant to go up hills or take off from a standing start using only engine idle power. What method of controls are you using? (Keyboard, Wheel and Pedals etc.)

Assisted clutch mode isn't smart enough to help with hill starts. All it does it push the clutch in when the brake is pressed, really.

I do get reverse issues on a flat in the assisted shift mode, I get no issues in first gear with any shift mode any vehicle, no issues with reverse in manual with manual clutch

keyboard, but it isnt that, if i put it into reverse and hold the break itll idle almost at nothing, then if i give it gas itll idle up to 1000rpms very very slowly then take off, but if its on an uphill trying to back up itll just keep rolling down, like in reverse it loses all power

I can't explain it better, but i have this bug, too. (playing with XBox360 Controller, assisted clutch)

Before i can start with a car, i have to kick the 'pedal to the metal' and then, i put it into the first gear, otherwise it won't move fast enough or the engine rpm goes to about 100rpm.
After a kickdown, the car starts with a wheelspin, because of that much torque. But trying to start smoothly doesn't work in many ways.
The most time of this problem i have with turbo boost tuned cars like Covet and the 200BX.
Maybe I have to check if there are others cars too, affected with this bug.
