Firstly, I want to thank you all for creating such a wonderful game. I've put more hours into BeamNG than anything else in the past year.

I also want to say that I really appreciate the recent development transparency in the Developers Section. I love being able to watch Italy take shape step by step.

The point of this post was to ask you, the BeamNG developers, to give us an idea of the future direction of the game. There are dozens of suggestions of what should be done next posted on this board every day. Some of them are reasonable, but others are outlandish. I understand that this game is still in early access, but I think if we had a roadmap of where you planned to take BeamNG upon completion, it could really help keep our expectations realistic.

We know that campaign mode is coming, but we don't know exactly what it is. Some people want a scenario driven campaign where you drive a tow truck, or a taxi cab. Others (me included) want campaign to have racing career mode akin to Gran Turismo or Forza, where you start with a cheap car and win races to but better, faster cars. There are many possibilities.

You are the developers. This is your baby. You know where you want to take it. But we as your fans and source of you income would love to have realistic idea of where we should keep our expectations. The "Something on the Horizon" blog post got us all very excited, but it's been almost 4 months since that blog was posted and we have yet to see the details it teased.

I'm very interested in learning how to make mods for this game and I think the modding potential for this game one of its best features. It will keep the community active for years. If multiplayer is every feasible it could bring in the dedicated sim racing mod community. That would be a huge boost to the longevity of this game. That being said, I would love to see some more detailed, in depth mod tutorials.

This post was never meant to complain about development. I'm thrilled with the progress I've seen in the past year and look forward to each update.

Thank you for all of your hard work!

No need to be sorry. I just think that I speak for a lot of us who are desperate to know where this game is headed. I bought the game and enjoy what I've got, but if your vision for the future excites me, I'd be willing to donate more towards development. You guys have something special here and I want to see it succeed.

Will some people team up to make realistic nascar, indycar, etc models?

I'm practicing with Blender right now with the hope to eventually make some NASCAR content. It's been a long time since I've done any 3D modeling, so I'm rusty and unfamiliar with Blender.
