Got the mod to work. It is great. --- Post updated --- Only, in reverse, the entire car turns off. --- Post updated --- But only in the ETK K-Series. --- Post updated --- Oh, it is fixed.
This adds loads of fantastic new features! Love the mod One small thing; are you going to be looking at improving the reverse whine, as the sound doesn't change seem to change in pitch much as you reverse faster, just a thought.
And the reverse whine is really obnoxious, if it was actually a whine, not a pulsing whine / screech / blare, then it would be pretty good.
I realize it does kinda suck.. Looking into improving this at a later date. If it's pulsing your FPS is probably below 60, if it is then sounds won't play correctly.
I hit at least 60 on max settings, but i run 65-70 on average [edit] I don't mean the sound is cutting in and out, it's just kind of a "high-low-high-low-high-low" sound
Strangely I have downloaded the mod, installed it, and I cannot turn off a Pessima with the 2.0 DOHC engine... Works now. Great mod!
I would like to use this mod but i am not sure how to correctly install it. I dropped it into my mods folder like I usually do but it doesn't work. I'm not sure if it's another mod that is messing it up or if I have to do more to get it to work. I wish that there was a video tutorial or a list to help me install it because I'm not the best at this kind of stuff.
Ok I did but I still didn't work. Don't I have to do anything else other than extract it to the mods folder?
Wow! It is working now! Thanks you guys so much! I can turn the engine on and off but the g doens't do anything on the d series but this is so cool. This mod add is really cool, it takes beamng.drive to a whole new level.
