Some features that would make things easier while playing; Rather than having two selection options for each vehicle for each transmission option (Auto/DCT vs Manual), Have a single selection per config, but when selected, there would be a drop-down menu instead of the "Transmission" description by the colors (like this) It would be nice to be able to "save" vehicle damage (for scenarios, beater configs, etc) The turbo whistle becomes really distorted/"pixely" on some cars (especially the SBR4), some fixes to that would be nice As a realism effect, on older vehicles, having a type of "fade" for the main lights/taillights would help, showing the bulb turning on and off (this can be seen in Next Car Game with the American Sedan) A render-resolution option in settings, so that we can adjust the resolution of the game quality, but keep the same UI resolution When popping tires, the inside of the tire are invisible, a fix for that would be nice
All pf this would be nice, except all the cars in this game supposedly like new straight out of the factory, it would be nice if there was a version that is as old as it actually would be on older cars.
I really like the idea of saving vehicle damage, because that would allow you to do some really cool things with it, like a used vehicle marketplace, where you can buy and sell damaged/destroyed vehicles or just individual parts. It would be really cool if it was online, so you could buy/sell to real people, and make real in game currency.
Maybe something like this: http://beamng.com/threads/overall-car-odometers.16893/ And it would be cool to save vehicles in the state they are in, and add them to your "garage". Although this would cause more nearly pointless mods to be made here, like "Damaged car pack". Um, how much effort does it take to damage a car in BeamNG?
a lot of effort to damage it in the way you want, like making the wheels non-circular without breaking the driveshaft.
