Hmmm, good question. It works pretty good now (hovers on one place/nice acceleration), but the steering needs some improvements. The model also needs some work ( which shouldn't take too long though), but then there comes all the awesome creative part suggestions, that's what I'm not sure of. To answer the question, a beta version at the end of next week probably.
I didn't even really thought about it, but BOOM there was this idea randomly coming up...and it worked .
Just some ideas: It may look cool if there are hover generators or something in the wheel wells, perhaps when those generators are hit hard enough they tend to explode? How about a big, heavy 1950's technology battery for power, or a tiny nuclear generator in the engine bay. Also, a certain key could control upward motion, that way you could press it and gain altitude.
For the Miramar, could the wheels be left on so that it looks like the flying Ford Anglia from Harry Potter?
Good ideas I've also thought about something in the wheel wells, those generators could be connected to the thing in the engine bay by the pipes Arne mentioned. And I like the idea that it's an nuclear reactor . I don't know if I'm able to make it explode though. Adjustable "ridehight" should be possible, that way the cars could also hover over each other: Cop chases on another level ETK will definitely look cool Sure Thank you, I think getting some decent textures is my main problem, like text etc. I'll let you know when I need help Also who knows how to do inputmaps and that stuff? And is there a way to toggle thrusters? Don't want to hold the button to make it hover all the time...
Fixed, sorry I have not used this site in a while. Anyway back on topic, this mod looks great and I can't wait to try it myself .
No need to say sorry, the same happened to me once and it took me a while to notice it, that's why I've notified. Those steam coming out of the car would be awesome, donno if it's possible though...
A bit late, but... As someone who gratuitously uses Lua magic: good job. Lua magic is only likely to break between updates, and this solution is creative, stable and works well. Looking forward to driving (uh... floating?) it around.
Awesome dude! Can't wait to check it out once you release it! Nice way of making them hover by the way. Hope it runs as good as it looks!
Tj, Ohh, that's good then . Your scenarios are true lua magic, some stuff where I wonder how it's done. Do you know how to use imputmap magic btw? There will be a low rider version Ty, It will . Forget what could be seen in the video.
