Is there a way to disable the chase camera?

That's my question. The newly introduced chase camera is highly useless to me, I want to get rid of it. I always end up switching to it, and it just annoyst the crap out of me.

It'd also be nice to make camera switching instantaenous again, like it used to be, instead of this animated thing, which consumes precious seconds while I crash.

 

There is already a thread for this.. just press C another time.

 

I searched didn't come up with any hits. I assume that is supposed to be sarcasm and you don't really think I'm that stupid.

Anyway I solved it temporarily by manually removing the corresponding section from all car jbeam files.
