I want to download it but it looks harsh on fps,is it?i know I might be wrong here,I don't want to download maps that will kill my fps because I use a laptop which is very bad
Hi epplaren, if you have been on this forum for a long time you may well have come across this map before. I assure you I am the creator of this map but this is the first time I have submitted it to the new mods section of the site. This is a massively updated version if the map including the second island. Thanks for taking the time to verify ownership though. Thats what keeps this community up to a high standard! --- Post updated --- Do you mean on the fast way down scenario? --- Post updated --- I have not tested on lower spec hardware. But would hope not. However there is a high foliage count. I would appreciate if people could give me feedback I will add a version with no foliage if necessary.

i tried it on my crappy laptop and I'm actually impressed by the performance,I usally get 10 fps on almost every map but I get about 16 fps in your map which is quite impressive,if doesn't stress my processer like other maps
It runs fine on my laptop, which has to run BeamNG on lowest. It should work fine on other low end computers
Really enjoyed this one, looks fantastic, scenarios are good, not too easy not too hard. Can't wait to see how you add to it.
Sweet, Cheers for checking for me! I do still feel very sorry for you at those frame rates though! I will think about doing a vegetation-less one but it will look pretty sparse. --- Post updated --- Thanks for the info man, I really appreciate it! --- Post updated --- Good vid man! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I'm planning on tweaking the scenarios a bit after watching you play. also I'm adding a lot more scenarios including some off-road 4x4 ones. If you want to check them out they are by the little cluster of buildings where you reversed up the bank. follow the road around a bit and look for an opening on the right leading down a dirt path to an opening thats the start of the off-road course. look for the dirt paths, they're tricky and require the right type of vehicle! Also again many thanks for the review much appreciated. Also ctrl+r resets the spawn point too your current position and use c to change camera to the orbit camera.
No problem and not at all its good to see a community member trying to ensure fair ownership of work.

Strangely my computer has 20fps in this map while in utah I have 30-40. Specsies: Intel core i5 4460 GeForce GTX 770 8bg RAM and something else that does not affect performance very much... Otherwise very good map! Scenarios are fun too.
Hey man, I'm sorry you get such a low fps on it. I guess because it has a lot more vegitation than the Utah map? What do you get on jungle rock island?
Thats very odd. I will try to look into it and improve if I can. If any one has ideas on what I can do, please let me know!
