I got the techdemo because i have enjoyed RoR but i have been having lag, I'm running on a 1.90Ghz processor Quad-core and a AMD Radeon HD 7640G, 512 MB Video ram, I'm sure i should be atleast be able to play at lowest setting without lag but thats not the case. I'm getting 10-15 FPS. Is there anyway to fix this?

To get an extra few FPS, strip your car down by using control + e

It improves performance. Also, go into the edit mode and delete vegetation. (F11)

Okay, so click F11 (don't forget to actually be in the game)
    Go on "mission group"
    Scroll down
Delete the "vegetation" folder, as well as the "ads" folder.

This and the stripped car should improve the performace and give you a good few extra FPS.

    Hope it helps :)

In world editor, on the right hand side you have a "scene tree", and underneath, an inspector.
On the scene tree, click "scene" (if you're not on it already) , it's next to the "library" tab.
In it, you will see "missiongroup"
Double click it, and it will open up mini tabs.eg: sky, bumps 1 bumps 2, etc.
    Look for vegetation.
Once you see it, left click and delete.
    It will speed it up.

Could it be possible to play with a unstripped car?

If your PC lags with BeamNG, I would recommend a stripped car so it's not as bad, but if you want to see the soft body physics in full action, and don't mind the lag, you can use an unstripped car.
    I would recommend 4WD.
