Hello, I have just purchased the Logitech G920 and set it up for BeamNG. Everything works fine apart from the force feedback. This is an issue because without force feedback enabled the wheel is locked up.
Help and enlightenment will be appreciated. This wheel cost me a fortune. -_-

    _Details_
-The force feedback makes the wheel turn clockwise only and fights moving counter-clockwise.
-I have tried changing many different settings in-game and in the hydros.lua file.
-I'm running on Logitech's latest drivers.
-My OS is Windows 10 x64.
-Windows 10 is crap and I think I am unable to modify the FFB settings in the devices properties section.
-Logitech isnt going to fix anything from what it sounds.

Never mind, Im just going to refund it.

If the FFB doesn't work correctly in other games, it's probably Logitech's fault, in which case you can help by complaining to Logitech and making them (more) aware of the issue.
If the FFB works in all games except for BeamNG, you can help by running the support.exe tool located in BeamNG installation directory, and posting back the resulting ID number here.

I've tested American truck simulator & Assetto Corsa with a small config edit. and they both work fine. experiencing the same exact same thing as the original poster.

So glad I got the G27 for a relatively cheap price when I did, as the G29 doesn't include the H-Shifter. Although I'll be honest, some games are better with controller, but I could mindlessly drive around for hours in BeamNG+G27 wheel.

Yeah I really wanted a G27 but I couldn't find any for sale in my country. but the g920 + shifter is still cheaper than the Thrustmaster wheels and they don't even come with a clutch.

401 is my ticket ID, my FFB won't work period even with it checked enabled. It makes the steering wheel difficult to turn with no FFB

I have implemented a possible fix for the next BeamNG update.

I don't have access to these problematic Logitech wheels, so the fix may or may not work. Fingers crossed... :)

Basically, I have added the option to run FFB system at a custom rate (from 30Hz up to 2000Hz). Up until now, G920 and G29 defaulted to 2000Hz, and from what I understand, they have a problem coping with those high frequencies that our physics engine use.

For your convenience, I will also modify the default inputmaps on those controllers, so that 30Hz FFB rate is used by default (when you hit "reset all" in Controls menu).
If that solves your issues in the next update, please try with bigger FFB rates (which improves the fidelity) and let me know which rates you find safe.
This way I can improve the default inputmaps, and the rest of the community can benefit too :)

I have tried the 30Hz option, but it doesn't help at all, the wheel's always turning clockwise, given enough FFB. The wheel itself is functional, for instance in Assetto Corsa or NCG.

Can't you guys simply contact and work together with Logitech?

I can confirm that too, some of the options making it easier to use pre-patch version of the game. However i tried from 30Hz to 2Khz to trying to have an ideal effect;but unfortunately did not worked either.Right now i'm not having a problem at ETS 2, ,CCD, Asseto Corsa, NCG and Project Cars while driving.Honestly, i really like Beam Ng and would like to see it in that "no-problem" list.So i hope that one gets fixed soon :)

Could you please test with the latest BETA drivers from logitech? They may address this issue, which has happened in other games before too apparently.

If it still doesn't work, remember to retest with different update rates, e.g. 30, 150, 500, 2000Hz, to see if any of them makes a difference.

    Thanks for your patience!

Will do ! Once i test the game, i'll share the results here.

    Finally it works, thanks !

Centering of Steering Wheel is fixed, no more cranking the wheel to the right, instead of trying to keep it at center.
I have tried all those frequencies and could not feel any difference, though at 2000Hz driving feels more realistic (especially in Ibıshu Miramar).Tested on Gavril roamer, gavril pickups and Ibishu Miramar. Also as a map i used Grid map for testing all kind of ffb effects.Hope this feedback helps.

Okay, I'll set 2000Hz as default then.
