Are you using any external program that hooks (or overlay things, like Discord) into the game (MSI Afterburner, Fraps, Reshape, Whatever)?
Try to close everything that is not essential, just to make sure it's not one of these programs causing this mess.

Also, I dont recall, but have you tried to use the 32bit version and see if it works?

Uhm, running out of ideas, you are the only one that is reporting such problem :(

In Controls > Hardware , if you tap CTRL does it register anything?
Are you able to rotate the camera by right-click + mouse movement?

Has the problem always happened since the introduction of nodegrabbing (9th february 2016), or did it work some time in the past?
If it used to work, but now it doesn't, please open the Windows Control Panel, search for the "Uninstall a program" section, sort the list of installed program by the "Installed On" date column, and check which programas where installed *after* 9th february 2016. Any one of them might be causing conflicts with BeamNG, and uninstalling them might resolve the nodegrabbing problem.

yep, both mouse click and left ctrl registered fine

the whole thing worked fine when it was introduced in 5.2, it still somewhat worked in 5.2.1 (the blue dots wont show up but i am still able to grab onto nodes sometimes) and on 5.3 it just completely stopped working :(
programs wise... after 9th feb theres things like bluestacks, java update, nvidia geforce update, skype update, vulkan run time libraries, and a few games (morrowind, car mechanics simulator etc)

So you are, sometimes, able to grab a node (but without seeing the blue spheres)?
Can you please test and confirm this is sometimes and not always (Test with the cone and try to grab the tip, it's easier - Press K for further aid)

How many 'input' devices do you have plugged in your PC?

    And solved.
For who experiences this problem, in the current version of the game (0.5.3.2), the -cefdev launch command (which shouldn't be used for normal gameplay anyway) intereferes with node grabbing.

Thanks @Haiiiiiiiiiiiiii and @Nadeox1. Few people use the CEF development console while trying to nodegrab, which is why we hadn't noticed earlier. The bug will be fixed for the next update :)
