External Mods?

So watching lots of these BeamNG videos with mods I've never seen on here before, I decided to look them up. I found a website 'worldofmods.com' and began downloading.

I hope these mods aren't banned or anything but when I got all the zips and moved them into my mods folder, nothing appeared... Am I doing something wrong or is this pretty much the game saying "don't use these Dumbass"?

 

These are low quality mods and they are horrible. Use at your own risk. Most likely they are outdated.

 

Fixed that for you. because there are people who are on this Fourm that are from that country and make some pretty good mods.






Basicly they usually slap a model from someone else onto a cars structure (jbeam) that is barely related to the real life counterpart for example slapping a Ferrari model onto an american sedan (Grand Marshal) or slapping a mustang onto the Moonhawk.

those mods are Russian mods they do not crash nicely because of a improper j beam structure and usually don't have the best interior and alot of times have unrealistic handling and engines

 

can we PLEASE stop saying russian mods? just say the mods of poor quality. as stated above, there are russians on this forum and they do make good mods.

 

I managed to figure out why they weren't working. Instead of just dropping the zips into mods folder, I had to extract them and drop a file into the vehicles folder, you all are right and I've always known they were bad mods because they were really low quality on Rigs of Rods too. But be sure to note that some of them, even being lower quality than official beam cars, some of them are really good, such as the old Ford trucks.
