Take a look at that drivetrain - I wonder if they really look like this...(donno If I'll ever put this ingame)
There's a grand marshall mod by AR12B: http://www.beamng.com/resources/gavril-grand-marshal-station-wagon-limousine-police-taxi-parts.40/
We have textures! They're not especially pretty, but they work. I'd like to thank Dummiesman for letting me know that I actually have to export the model again after I UV it. I also got the thrusters mostly worked out, although I'm probably going to have to redo most of the beams to make it less of a complicated wobbly mess, and adjust the weight, find a suitable node materiel, edit beam values...etc.
The park, still going of course. In blue, the park itself. In green, the golf course next to it, which I'm including as well, to make the map more interesting. (You can see what's already modelled in the pic) A huge project indeed, I hope to release something close to an alpha...this year. (The map is more than 2 km2 big) At least I finally know how to convert that 3D sketchup mess into a proper Torque3D terrain, so that's one problem solved. But terrain is just one thing, texturing, making buildings and props...yup. I'll surelly need some help eventually, but for now I can do it on my own. I would love to start a thread for the map, but I think it's still way too early, I want to wait until I start adding decals/textures to it on the game itself...not sure what technique I should use for this, but when the time comes I'm sure I'll manage to do it if people give a hand with technical stuff like this.
Nah, that song should be playing regardless of how much the throttle is pressed and it should be louder with the interior cameras, the custom engine sound should either be an engine with a fake turbo(like the TRD laser was) or a poorly made sound clip of a decent engine that sounds like its being played back on 20 year old speakers. I just feel like that would fit the car.
"Hey there!" Turns out Mr. Stig does pretty well on his own outside the pickup. I'm considering creating a version of the magic carpet that is suited to accommodate Mr. Stiggy and spawns with him on it. Right now, he's a little too heavy for it to take off with. Thanks to @B25Mitch for creating the Stig! I'm not the first one to use it in a different mod, so I'm assuming it's okay to let Stiggy ride the magic carpet . Edit: Just got his various included DDS files working, so his textures are much improved.
Added dynamic reflections, removed front weight from the body mesh (it will be as a separate part), also improved deformation and front jbeam. Working on engine and transmission.
itasha paintjob is progressing yay I just don't know if i can add the sponsor stickers now or continue to do some of the 'geometric' shapes for the rear.
This is looking so clean What do you think , should this paintjob be completly red or should it be with these numbers on the doors ?
