I really hate to nitpick like this, but those wipers are awfully high up on the windshield, usually German cars had them down low so they wouldn't get blown off at high autobahn speeds. Otherwise i am squealing like a schoolgirl with a bucket of glitter and a hello kitty sticker/coloring book combo pack. I think my dog has lost some respect for me.

EDIT: It has headlight wipers! love to see period details like that.

I personally liked more the front on the original post's pictures. With these taller headlights and grill, it looks too much like the Covet and it's sort of too plain and simple for a german sedan of that era. But still good job devs! You never fail to amaze me how fast you work on all these new maps and vehicles :)

Thought the same myself at first but really after looking at Audi and BMW cars from the same time period its pretty accurate looking to me. It shares quite alot of design ques from the mid 80's Audi 4000 particularly at the front end. Its also got a nice mix of body design not dissimilar to the BMW E30.

Also @devs, are you planning to add a kidney type center piece to the grille similar to the modern ETK?

Yeah, adding some chrome details on the grille would make it a lot better.

I have an idea. Can you make a German Polizei version of it? Something like this: Screenshot_2016-03-13-09-56-29-1.png

I wish the car looked a bit more BMW-like, with the separated circular head lights and the traditional BMW taillight styling. The rest (design), however, seems very good.

At first, I didn't much care for "generic" cars like this to be added into the game, but with every new update bringing the game closer and closer to the satisfying reality of driving an actual car (albeit most of the time it's off some sort of cliff), I've changed my mindset a little bit.

First off, the Pessima AWS is beautiful... just... beautiful. WIth the experience that I've had with this thing, it will basically never understeer ever, and for what looks like a library on wheels (by which I mean that it isn't very appealing when it comes to exterior design), that's impressive. It corners better than almost any other non-supercar in this game, and I find myself using it more and more all the time. Being able to actually drive in a game called BeamNG.drive should naturally be one of the main features, and cars like the Pessima fail to disappoint.

You can argue that the SBR is the best handling car in the entire game, and that's actually more than just true, it's incredibly so, and a lot more. It doesn't seem to have very many limits when it comes to it's handling abilities, and being in actual, physical control of a car that can do basically everything you want it to is more-or-less universally a great feeling all around. However, on the other side of the spectrum, it's lacking something that I, personally, miss in that car: resilience. It takes one hit from the side and it's out cold, no more driving from that point. It is then completely and utterly dead. Older cars like the Pessima and the Burnside, on the other hand, will literally grit their teeth and carry on as best as they can.

    That
is the kind of thing I like to see: the struggle of a vehicle in disrepair. The new damage system and sound effects are dragging me into a dark place, and I sort of like it. It's admittedly more fun to crush a tin can than it is to rip apart a plastic cup, and that's the difference between the Pessima and the SBR. The Pessima can take a hit, and instead of giving up, it finds a way to keep going, while the SBR just crumples into an expensive heap. There is nothing, I repeat, nothing more awe-inspiring than a mutilated brick of a car putting along at a max speed of 27 MPH due to the debris dragging along the undercarriage, with busted windows and lights and smoke absolutely spewing out from underneath the chassis due to the exhaust pipes being torn asunder, and there's always that one wheel that's bent to the side a little bit, but you've gotten so used to the countersteer that it's become almost natural to drive in a straight line once again. That is satisfying to me, and that's the kind of reliability I hope to get from this car. An AWD brick that handles as light as a feather and then falls hard like a stone, then keeps going regardless of how many times it's rolled over or crashed.

Knowing German cars and their reliability, I can only hope that this thing can take a beating and then walk it off like it didn't just get its wheel jammed into the wheel well after that one jump it couldn't quite land correctly, and it still wants to corner despite the popped tires and the fender trapped underneath one side of the car that slightly lifts half of the front end off the ground a little bit, it just makes you start rooting for it after a while like a horse with an injured leg running a derby. Sure, it won't get there first, but it will have triumphed over all odds despite its weak condition, and won the hearts of all those who witnessed its struggle.

Or you'll just end up laughing at the fact that you're literally on fire and still going, and that's fine too.
