Hi there, I have a couple questions regarding Beam.ng.

1.) I messed up gridmap while making a map and I can't seem to recover it, even through steam's file checking system. (Checks to see if anything is missing and re downloads it.) Any other ways to recover it other than uninstalling Beam.ng?

2.) I try to copy the pure gridmap and then edit all of the files correctly and then put it back into the levels folder, but it doesn't show up in the level selection. I made sure to rename all files that have the "pure grid" name to my map's name, and I correctly edited the map so that it is 2048x2048, so I am not sure what to do.

    Thanks.

just delete the map files and then use steam to recover them

Make sure it's deleted in your Documents/BeamNG.drive/levels/ folder. Also clear the Documents/BeamNG.drive/cache/ folders.

The map/level cache is stored in both the Documents/BeamNG.drive/cache/ folder and and Documents/BeamNG.drive/levels/ folder. Usually it's in the /levels/ folder, but I've found it can sometimes be in the /cache/ folder.

Thanks guys! I'll get to work on this. My main problem was finding where to find the cache folder, I overlooked it.
