I mostly am concerned about how easy it is to detach the drive-shafts on some fairly light or grazing collisions. If that is fixed, consider me very excited for the demolition derby cars, of all classes (full-size, compact, and truck). :)

Well, maybe it would be possible for vehicles with AWD to still have the front wheels going if the rear diff/axle/prop shaft breaks.

I'll totally be making my Derby car out of the Bruckell Moonhawk. American classics FTW!

These skins are actually looking very nice :) I'll be building mine out of the Pessima or 200BX.

I find it quite a shame those older cars are getting destroyed, better to use those awful cars we have nowadays!

Ha ha that F**k The police car! awesome.

This is my demo car #88. Although I exported it as fullsize_c.dds, and overwrote it every time I spawn a grand marshal it goes yellow & black (texture not found) so i need to select layer 2 of the car and edit it to fullsize_c.dds and then it shows up. Can anyone help so that it will become default?

I didn't mean that kind of detail. I meant details as in the paint strokes (the flames looked like they were made from shapes, not brush strokes which would be used IRL) and rust/wear on the body of the car (very few people would use a brand-new car for Demo Derby) Check this post to see what I mean.

This was one of the first things I took care of, as the truck is super fun to drive around damaged, and the glass drive shaft bothered me too.

There is a line of code called: "onBeamBreakDisableDriveshaft":["driveshaft"]

Located in the "fullsize.jbeam, pickup.jbeam, ect...

    Delete it, and enjoy.

BTW!!! IF YOU WANT TO CHANGE THE WHEELS, GO TO GIMP AND IMPORT C:\BeamNG\BeamNG.drive-0.3\vehicles\common\-whatever wheels-\ and then export to the same file.

This is my newest demo derby truck aka sharktruck, 181

All in the game no mods for performance or parts. I did a paint job with paint.NET and got a cool texture glitch and kept it. paint job took me about 3 minutes.

Please help! Don't know why game is so dark gamma slider does nothing and its not my computers brightness I don't have this problem with anything else.

I'm guessing the map time is set to night.

To fix that, press "F11" and in the window on the right, type in the search box "tod" or "time of day" or something along the lines of those.
Somewhere in that, there should be a checkbox that says "play" next to it. Click it until the time turns to day (or whatever time you want).

    Hopefully this helps. ;)
