this is a little project I've been working on, the model is finished and all I need is a Jbeamer list of progress: Re-did rear glass area and fixed glass. Turned trunk into tailgate with flares on top. Added flares to bed. Added roll-bar, Re-did roll-bar. Added wall between rear seats and bed. Pic: (only one because it was all in one area and can be seen in one pic) If you would like to do the Jbeam please PM me! -Acrain7
This looks really cool, and I have a suggestion. After spender about 5 minutes looking at 4-door Utes, they all seem to have an extended rear end, so that it can hold a load. the Ute came about so that people could go to church on a Sunday, and then deliver the livestock to market on a Monday.
the bed seems too short and the rollbar looks weird and too thick, I know you already re-did it but do it again and this time look at some actual roll bars, if anything the old one looked slightly better.
i cant fix the bed being too short (read post above) and the rollbar on the old one was bent inwards ant an odd angle, but i'll try it again
The proportion of the whole thing looks wrong. Sunburst is a small saloon. A 2-door ute will be more suitable. I think Pessima is better as a 4-door ute.
The B pillar will look better if they are extended. Also, it's better for the rear axle to be right below the middle of the bed.
I'm no jbeamer btw i think you can ask help from pros. They know what they're doing, not me. Can i beta test?
That may win the award for one of the most useless posts this month. It doesn't really offer much. To keep this post useful, I recommend using the Pessima for 4 door, and the Sunburst for 2 door.
