   I noticed after crashing a stripped van and its wheels were up in the air that when I changed gears I could see the tire changing sizes.
   Is this how transmissions work in game or is it just a visual bug?

   The gyroscopic forces will cause it to expand. There's a limit to how stiff we can make things without them exploding so we can't counter the expansion force completely.
