Maybe something like this has alredy beed suggested, and in that case I apologise, but a map based on High Atlas in Morocco would be nice. By that I mean a map with steep mountains, tight and dangerous dirt roads, very deep and tight canyons, and maybe a small village. I don't mean like Canyon of Speed where there are big open spaces, but the opposite. An area where we would feel opressed and claustrophobic, a bit like this. With a road in the middle and other ones around the hole. I hope I'm precise and specific enough
I'm definitely with Highway 101 WA Lake Crescent one for this poll. (and the Baja 1000 too) In my previous post, I was going to, but completely forgot to mention a map in a temperate rainforest area somewhere around Washington's or BC's coast. It appeared anyway. (Yes, I really like temperate rainforest... alot.) Probably too late to add another option, but I just got another idea that I think would be perfect... Highway 4 on Vancouver Island, going towards Tofino. Nice winding road, in the coastal rainforest, with small mountains, and sometimes on the side of a lake or the ocean. Beautiful drive. I'll probably try making the map myself as I doubt anyone is going to take this suggestion as of now. And some pretty pictures: (yes I snipped one from streetview)
Thank's @pickle330 , also for a beam render, highway 101 WA lake and highway 4 on Vancouver is quite the same atmosphere and lanscape... On the other side temperate rainforest seems more difficult to make. Your vote for highway 101 is near your idea.
Pickle and I live in the same neck of the woods so our preferences are obviously biased and quite similar. It's beautiful country over here and we can't help it! I like ALL the ideas presented so far and no doubt which ever idea wins out will be spectacular.
Definitely the steep streets of San Francisko! But I know I came late, so countryside/village roads will be decent aswell!
