    i7-5960X @ 3.0Ghz...

The reason why I run it at stock clocks is because I want this processor to last, this is a $1000 processor I dont want it blowing up in 2 days from a stupid OC I did to it, I am NOT an overclocking whiz I prefer stock clocks so I can enjoy my computer for longer :)

The real reason you run @ stock, Sir, is that you don't know shit about overclocking. Above arguments are all invalid. Every CPU has it's maximum reasonably safe voltage and running @ this voltage will not significantly shorten CPU life. It will easily run like 10 years or more without any problems and by that time this CPU will be way too outdated anyway to be useful.

Is my CPU even overclockable at all?

With a overclockable motherboard you could possibly add maybe +.5Ghz to your clock speed by changing the FSB speed

Q8200 2.33 --> 2.8GHz on cheap ass Mo-Bo (worth maybe 35$ when it was new) - cannot put anything more, even single MHz higher becouse PC will not boot. With this setup it works great for this old (7yrs of daily using - only PSU had to be replaced half year ago) and extreme cheap PC.

OP reminds me of my stolen i5 4690k, so I'm stuck with my 7 yo build, while I already have every other part to new one hidden in boxes, becouse without that CPU I cannot assembly it -_- (I just don't have any CPU for LGA 1150 socket) So I just replaced gtx 260 with r9 380 4GB and BOX cooler to CM HyperX Evo 212. Rest of parts don't fit.

Erm... Open Speccy, look for the CPU heat, you can raise it in .2Ghz steps until it's on like 45-50°, higher is still possible (though not the most intelligent thing to do as it could easily get hotter and hotter.

    i5 6600K @4.0Ghz.
