    You do realize you can change the theme in most all Windows OS's right? He is in fact using Win 7 with the classic theme. How do I know? Because I've used MS DOS, XP, Vista, Win 7 and Win 10...

    @BallisticDK @Ford F-350 Man Sorry, that I have no desire to go back to the cheap design of the mid 90s to early 2000s OS. For that reason, I would never look for said feature on my computer.

    Neither would I... I prefer the Aero theme, but some people prefer the "stone age" theme I guess...

    I'm on Win 7 Pro right now. I was on Win 10 Pro before I built my latest computer. I may eventually switch back, we'll see... My latency on my current system usually hangs out between 50 and 130, so I don't want to lose that.

    guys, i know what system i'm running. Anyone heard of visual performance tweaks? disabling aero and using windows basic themes? Here's some more reassurance.

    You fixed it by opting in the DX9 Beta?
    Because that's not a solution then. The DX9 version is an older version of the game!

    no guys..lol. I feel like people aren't following everthing i've typed in my replies. I was running MSI gaming app, always do. I found that turning it off did in-fact fix the 64bit DX11 version. Yes, though i did revert to DX9 beta i continued troubleshooting and did find that that specific program was causing interference. @doge01 had the same issue as i did and had i not found it, i would have if followed his advice so i give him the credit for fix.

    Actually when your computer gets up there in the specs like mine, disabling the Aero effects does nothing in terms of performance... Since your computer has a WEI number of 7.6, quite frankly disabling Aero does nothing but make it look ugly and disable some nicer features. The only computers that would benefit from it are wimpy ones... But if you like the "stone age" look, then let er rip.
