Civettea Bolide Controlls

Hello Everyone,

I just bought the game tried using the Civetta Bolide. Whenever I drive forward and attempt to turn, the car starts to spin out after reaching about 40 mph. I've tried taping the right and left arrow key's lighter or faster. But I still seem to spin out, Help? Or am I just a terrible driver, and the car is hard to steer?

Also, I've noticed that in the videos that Beamng have made. Their steering wheel seems to turn slower, mine seems to spin really fast for all cars/trucks. Is it because I use a keyboard and they use a controller maybe?

 

Be careful with the throttle. Steer into the slide as soon as it happens.

 

It s hard to throttle on keyboard, when you press the up arrow, your putting 100% throttle, unlike when you use a 360 Controller you can adjust to you liking and take a turn properly.

 

I drive with a keyboard too, you have to be really gentle with the up arrow key. After I get up to speed I coast most of the way unless I want to slide around a corner (like the 180 at the Industrial track) then I tape down the throttle.

 

Thank You, It's really dumb how the moment you press the button it applies 100% throttle. They should get on that, but hey... It's alpha, what more could I ask for.

 

What's dumb is the fact you don't understand the concept of pressure sensitive buttons/keys. And there's no such thing as a keyboard with pressure sensitive keys.

 

He means the game might only allow 10% throttle increase per 0.5 second, so the game feathers for you.
