update bug

for some reason my beamng drive will not update automatically! if its not supposed to self update then how can i update it? i think im on version 1.0.1 or something! : /

It should auto-update via steam.

What version are you running? You can find the version number on the main menu, bottom right corner. If you're running 0.4.3.2 then you're up to date.

Try reinstalling the game, that should make steam download the newest version (which is 0.4.3.2. btw)

 

0.3.0.5 is my current version : /

 

Oh my, that's the original release of the game. 2 years out of date. Enter your key into Steam and it will add it to your library.

 

Yeah, just reinstall the game via steam. That should fix it.

i got it off the beamng drive website though... not steam. i do have it linked with steam though. ._.

 

how do i get my key... im not very good at this so i may need help step by step...

 

DX9 beta is not the same as 0.3.0.5

He's running the original stand-alone release from August 2013. He needs help with getting the most recent version, not opting out of the beta

 

so what is there to do?

 

i checked the file script i think its called and it said the last update was in 2014...

 

should i unlink it from steam and relink it?

Put your key into Steam (through the little plus button, click the Activate a product on Steam)
