I have spiky sidewalls. Is there any reason i should have spiky sidewalls? I've moved the wheels out, but now I have a sidewall problem. I've also lowered tire pressure, if that matters. Excuse the picture, had to take it with my phone as I have no wifi where I am.

Did you move both '3D Model' and 'Jbeam' outward, or only of those two?
Press K, take a screenshot (You can press ALT+O, the game will take a screenshot, upload it on our server and leave you a link) and post it here please.

I moved the Jbeam out some, but i have to restart the game any time I make a change to the Jbeam or model positions, since it crashes the game. I'll take some pictures tonight when I get done with driving.

That doesn't sound right. Are you pressing Ctrl+R to reload the vehicle?

...no. Crap. Perhaps that's the problem! I was wondering, because I had read you can do realtime adjustments.

Make sure you are working on the car in a vehicle folder extracted from the zip

Than anytime you make a change press "CTRL+R"

Okay, elaborate please. Where do I need to put said extracted vehicle folder for it to load, and if I extract it, will it conflict with the original D-15/Roamer? I'm sorry, I'm used to doing this kind of stuff in RoR and I seem to remember it being much easier.

Okay! As a side note, I edit something, hit ctrl-r, and the truck disappears. Dafuq.

I think that the location you want (for doing work) is:
    C:\Users\your_user_name\Documents\BeamNG.drive\vehicles\pickup

This path should take priority over other paths (including over the stock .zip file).

Ive tried that and it still reads from the zip.

Edit: Now it won't read the pickup at all.

I've just tried it myself and it it does not prefer files from the zip. In other words it works as I described: if I modify the info.json for the pickup and place it in the location I gave then I can see the modification in game when I load up the game. (C:\Users\my_user_name\Documents\BeamNG.drive\vehicles\pickup)

Temporarily remove any mods which affect the pickup.

No problem. That cache can be a real pain.
