Will files carry over to another computer?

So I had BeamNG on a computer where there was a corrupt file problem (That I believe was caused by malware) where some pictures, as well as files in RoR and BeamNG would become randomly corrupt in the vehicles ,terrains and maybe some more folders. So if I install BeamNG to a different computer but through the same Steam account, will the corrupt files be transferred to the other computer or is that impossible?

 

Unless you manually move the files via usb/portable hard drive onto the new device Steam will just create new files on that device, in other words no the files will not be corrupted.

 

The mods that were in your mods folder will be gone. Steam doesnt deal with documents folder, only the stuff you have in steam. So you could re-download BNG on a new PC, but your mods will be gone, unless you back em' up.
