Made a bunch of mock-ups from previous requests (and some of my own) now that I'm not really in a hurry at the moment. Personally, I liked the ones with the lights mounted under the bodywork (see first, sixth & seventh pictures) best, but that's just my input.
Btw, "Group B" is a rally hillclimb style car, not even close to what you were likely thinking. Sorry for the lack of progress, but I honestly don't know what I will be basing my brake lights off of, I really do not know what I like but I will be going with something similar to one of fastest classic's posts. It will likely lack signal lights as I don't see those as being very necessary for BeamNG purposes. I will utilized lights more when I start making cars from scratch. in further mods,
Here is a video of me driving the current vehicle at Monza purely in the LHD Cockpit. I just got my wheel's pedals fixed, so expect slightly slower progress for a short period of time while I get my racing fix... [I haven't used it for over two months] But also expect an increased amount of videos made to show off the car at it's best. 60FPS! I drive for one lap than fade to a couple bloopers. Also I have plans in the future to change the windscreen wiper setup to one central wiper. I may also change the engine sound to be more aggressive and Group C like.
Some moderate changes have been made. New Group C Spec tourqe curve. Mostly based on the Mazda 787B [No matter how odd that is since it's not rotary] Max Torque: 609NM @ 6250RPM Max Power: ~800HP @ ~9500RPM Max RPM: 10000 Max Speed: 391Km/h [243MPH] Idle RPM: ~2000 Handling characteristics vastly improved due to these changes.
So it wasn't until now that I thought it would be a good idea to really slim down the front tires to be a little smaller and a little narrower than the beasts in the rear.. and let me say it made a huge improvement on the overall handling of the car. WIP!!! [Still no normal maps =( ] I also adjusted the model for the tire a tad.
Looking so much better dude. This car is so fun to drive and I love the way it crashes and the body panels fly off like plastic Also, the way the suspension gets damaged is really cool
Very short gearing added [Top speed: ~316Km/h / ~196MPH] Low drag and High drag front options added Low drag, high drag, and super high drag GT wing options added Transmissions Options to match. Normal ~391Km/h Short ~350Km/h Super Short ~316Km/h Tire adjustments and aero revision still needed to obtain correct handling on the low-drag/normal transmission combo setup while still maintaining a high speed.
The handling is a bit awkward at the moment as I am changing things to make it a bit more realistic. sorry the release version is far behind, the changes are just so drastic that I want to make sure everything is right before I release it. Idk if the next release will have the requested brake lights however as I feel people are getting a little bored and want an update soon. So I will try to get it out in the near future. ------Extra Information------ I haven't touched the brake lights because I am still in the planning phase as I have to tackle more jbeam, I will need to think about how complex or simplistic it will have to be or if I'll just slap it on the back and make a deform group out of it, however that may also cause odd problems were the lights fall off but deformations haven't happened drastic enough to break the lights causing working lights on the ground. Or maybe I'll just use a breakgroup somehow. Because of the limitations I face I will really have to think this through before going ahead and tossing them on. I cannot wait to move on to whole vehicles after this when I can just make a basic car to learn more even more advanced stuff and just go all out on the jbeam and make it super detailed. An artist can daydream of the future, can he not?
If I was truly thinking of the impatient I would already have a new release and it would be poorly rated as a result.
Then go the extra mile and go for the taillights, ace the handing and squash all the bugs. Take your time, it's not like you need to keep people subscribed to your mod like a youtuber, release it in fair time when you're happy with it.
