Drove into a 15mins long dirt path on JRI that made me do a tour of the whole island and ended at the strip.
Finally you can get the updated version of Finland Rally! http://www.beamng.com/resources/finland-rally.70/
Some small progress on the Barstow notchback. It's not going that fast because I'm not that fond with the initial design of the Barstow; it's a (compact) pony car sized car from should be late 60s early 70's, but it has many styling cues from midsize and fullsize cars from that era. The large bumpers, forward sloped rear surface and taller-than-wide taillights are a few parts which are different compared to the pony cars of that era. It's not that obvious on a fastback, but all the more on a notchback. It makes it look like it came from the late 70s. I've added some quickly made smaller bumpers with some sheetmetal to fill the gaps, added a spoiler (and straightened the rear panel of the notchback) to increase the seperations between the trunk and rear panel. Also, I've made a more rigorous variant and also added those parts on the fastback for comparison. It gives them a more sporty and aggresive look like the real life pony cars. It's all done very quickly, so some parts and body lines are not aligned. I've raised the rear bumper, widened the rear quarterpanels, stretched the upper rear section, shortened, widened and and moved the taillights to name a few. I'm not sure it will be in the final release as I think the notch should still look like a Barstow... It's more how I think it should have looked The sedan will be based on the notchback, with slightly different (steeper) and rearward moved b-pillar. Also I've been finetuning the T-series hay-hauler trailers. If it wasn't for the steep slopes it's now possible to drive around the road in Baja Hills without flipping over, still only when driven carefully. It makes a nice addition to the hay-hauler series. It still needs some more finetuning, lights, reflectors, underride guard and maybe I'll increase the gap between the trailers a bit as they just touch each other in a non-flat tight corner. Who needs a truck simulator when you can have this?
Nice to see some progress! Any idea for making Barstow more older like 64 or 67? That will fit the Coupé style body
The notchback gives off a really thick Mustang vibe, I dig it. Can you do something about those overly large chrome bumpers, though? I've never liked them, they don't fit a 60's pony car.
drift da covet. i had to remove all the vegetation or else my laptop would lag ;-; still looks cool tho
Chilling at a road stop, when suddenly a challenger arrives! Spoiler: A blast from the past Big thanks to gabe for letting me (yes) do this. Will be released when dome. Note: This does not mean any other of his old mods will be redone, at least not yet
Wrong thread. No one knows when the Burnside will be out, it's the devs' decision. And those bugs have been mentioned dozens of times and they're fixed for the next update. OT; Cragars look good on the Barstow as well
