I have same errors(or at least close) as thatguy1234 happens on experimental and stable stable has textures though and experimental doesnt. Also, you have a ground, just not textures or something like that experimental(demonstrating there is ground) stable experimental i think some of your files for the level are in the levels folder instead of in your maps folder. I dont know for sure but you should check just in case so bascily they are here BeamNG.drive\levels instead of here BeamNG.drive\levels\Blankmaptestmap
I've exported to terrain hightmap and the layer map. You can find these files here: - - - Updated - - - Here's a screenshot of the files at the ..\levels folder I thought I've had everything imported to the right folder.
the files that need to be in your BeamNG.drive\levels\Blankmaptestmap are as follows - theterrain23.ter - theterrain23_basetex.dds these 2 file are found in your BeamNG.drive\levels(thats where the game auto created them) here is how i know what they are and where there are. the error i got is telling me where its trying to find the files you may need to edit the .mis also. right click on it and click open with(it may just say Open), then select notepad(or notepad++ if its installed) and press ok. now you need to find all the paths that read levels/"the file names that I said above" and add in the phrase Blankmaptestmap/ between levels/ and "the file names that I said above" ex: change this to this also a lot of you art work(rocks, trees, etc) is in the wrong places. once you get the level to load with the method above, i can help you with working out some of the artwork
Thanks, I'm going to do that But I'd like to finish the map before you are fixing the artwork, but also thanks for offering me help. Maybe it'll fix it itself after I finished the map.
Looks great man! I have two suggestions though first it looks like you might want to smooth out those roads, and I think you might want to add a few rocks and shrubs to fill in the scenery. But so far it looks great and I'm looking forward to it!
Thanks man, I'm going to smooth the roads while making nearby parts of the map. I'll also add for sure some rocks, bushes and some grass mesh. But for now I'm concentrating on making a good overall-look. After that I'll do some fine tuning.
About a year ago I decided to abandon this project, because school 'n stuff happened and as a motivated student I had to lern. But now finally I have found the time and motivation to start working again. So stay tuned to see more stuff coming on this thread soon.
You could add some tall grass or detailes to the landscape to cover up the terrain texture and make it more dynamic rather than seing one texture...
