Released 8x8 Heavy utility truck 2016-6-5

The truck actually is a Scania R500. Comparing this truck to the Scania R500 in Euro Truck Simulator 2, it is actually, very accurate!

i have downloaded multiple times but it will not work for me.. would love to test it but i give up!

 

So far this remains the best downloadable vehicle I've used yet, and I've tried pretty much all of them. Even most of the ones available on the Russian websites.

For some reason, whenever I try to use this vehicle in game, it crashes Beamng.

Any suggestions/Fixes?

loved this for the whole 5 minutes i got to use it, then the game crashed. as soon as i go to spawn it the game crashes again. tried 50 times and gave up.. even deleted every mod I've installed and it would still crash.. still loved the vehicle though!

Very nice truck. Drives great. But the real scania r-series is automatic. (only a minor thing)

 

Not all of them are automatics. They have manual options as well.

IIRC smaller engines like the 480hp have manual option. Bigger ones like the 730hp have automatics.

 

Opticruise is auto. older ones are manual.

 

why when i open this mod, my game is clossed. i see error and sent it to beamng.com. why?

I have said this before but I will post it again: If you are having troubles with crashing on low settings, what you can do is spawn the truck in normal settings then once spawned change the settings to custom, then you can change things like textures to lowest, mesh to lowest, shaders to lowest and lighting to lowest. but I'm pretty sure you have to keep the post processing at normal.
