It seems I am not the only one having this problem. I have seen a few threads around the forum with this same problem of getting poor framerates no matter what settings are selected. It doesn't seem to be very hardware dependent as it seems to happen to the few people with older/slower or newer/faster processors and GPU's regardless.

When I am playing, no matter what settings I choose I get 25FPS no matter what. But, if I am driving around the D15 for instance and remove the cab and bed, I get 70FPS, which sounds good, but the game seems to speed up. And not in the way it should be playing, but like the entire simulation has been put into fast motion. The truck will now do 0-60 in about 1 second and is extremely twitchy.

Yeah, i find my supposed 'lag' is actually the simulation slowing down, vice versa. it's quite a weird thing to occur. :)

Try to disable SSAO from Options - Left Menu.

Yup tried that. If its enabled or disabled I still get 25FPS. Tried setting all settings to lowest, still getting 25FPS.
