This is a crying shame man... I've only ever seen you (and Dummiesman in the case :3) give 100%, and do your best to make your mods as cutting edge and just great as you can; and you're always being hindered by the development. I get that something like that'd toss you some curve balls from time to time but it's when they add things and gloss over others like this that it's just ignorant (lights on Helljeep anyone? I know that's not your fault ). Just as with RoR we all know the importance of the mod community to this game, no developer could deny that without being completely ignorant to the fanbase. While I get the game engine requires lots of binds to get out of it what it has to give; but there just has to be a better solution. Car specific keymaps or something. I don't know, but it's a damn shame you see any hindrance in doing the amazing work you do; I hope things go more smoothly down the road and can't wait to see what else may be in the pipeline. Thanks for all the awesome again Mythbuster and cheers! I hope to enjoy this awesome mod with competent controls sometime in the future!
This mod is awesome, Roadkill is one of the best car series out there! I saw many people having problems setting up key-bindings for the suspension to work fully for this mod, I found from using CTRL + T/Y/G/H along with rebinding the suspension to T/Y/G/H that the mod works perfectly. I've attached a screenshot the exact key-bindings I use for the mod (found under advanced controls). Mod works like a charm!
hey mythbuster, you should do more roadkill mods. how about the muscle truck, or the vette cart, or any other car on roadkill - - - Updated - - - also one more thing, i wrote a new key binding setup that kinda makes sence i used w,a,s,d,-,= and it works good how i have it. want me to send it to you? i only used wasd because as far as i can tell wasd dosent work for controls even though they are mapped for it
I recently downloaded BeamNG. I downloaded this mod also. The car worls fine but the only wheels i can move (Hydraulics) are the front wheels. My F1 key was binded to Help so I unbinded it and still i was unable to use it to control the car. (all the F1, F2.. ect, keys are also unresponsive) Does anyone know what is wrong? and how to solve it?
That's false...you just have to rebind the keys so that it works again. It's relatively easy. Mine works just as intended.
You can access advanced controls in the controls menu. There are function buttons that are now unassigned as a result of recent updates and changes to the stock keybindings, but you can re-bind these keys so that the mod works as intended. Just look in the controls menu and you'll see the empty bindings.
would you be able to screenshot the changes? i did the same changes as the last guy did (with the screenshot) but i can't lift or lower the rear left wheel
Why not the home, page up, page down, and end keys for the hydro controls? After all the update breaking it, it might work.
