I just updated today and I have a too crappy computer so i can only run grid map but when i launched grid map i realized there was a swamp area and stuff i put my graphics on lowest but the game will still crash. So i was wondering if I could re-download the older grid map
This is my reply to your other post in the bugs thread. Whether it's possible to edit the areas out without crashing or not, I don't know, but a suggestion nonetheless: You could use the Mission Editor to remove the grass, and anything else too. In windowed mode, press F11. Change your view by clicking the camera icon upper left, switch to Orbit. You can now move the camera around with the mouse and WASD. Go to paint the terrain with F3, and use anything but grass to cover up the grassy areas. You can see the material to draw on the bottom right of the editor. Aside from lowering graphics that may be the only thing that will fix it. Those specs are low for a game like this. After editing make sure to save the map. Hope I got all of that right, not at home currently.
maybe download the dx9 build? and copy that gridmap over. edit. i have the old one backed up. problem is it needs to be seperate level. i tried(renamed all the file paths too) but it didnt work, i just get texture errors. If anyone wants the file i need to make sure the devs are ok with that.
