    Try a full reinstall:

    -Unistall BeamNG from Steam
-Delete BeamNG.Drive folder from MyDocuments (backup your mods if you want)
-Delete BeamnG.Drive folder from Steam/Steamapp/common (If there is still a folder)
    -Reinstall BeamNG.

Also provide your PC Hardware Specification and Operative System.

    No it's not normal.

Please give your PC Specs.. we need to know what GPU you have in order to determine if it's causes by incompatibility or something else.

Seems like it might be minor DX10 fallback errors. [just a wild guess]

Artifacts aren't always easy to run a diagnostic on...

Artifacts are the hardest thing to pin down am I correct?

    Not really.. but it depends.

Hardware issues are generally easier to find than software issues, at least as far as I know.

GPU problems can be hard to find the culprit because sometimes it's driver issues, or sometimes the device it's self is causing errors.

Since the GPU isn't exploding and artifacting everything in sight, it looks like it could be compatibility issues or software side problems.

I would put a suspect on the GPU and possible older hardware that may cause it but I could be VERY wrong

I've seen similar artifacting on my GTX 970. Possibly an unstable factory OC, that's what it was for me.

@gatheringagate What graphics card are you using?

Use Speccy to tell us and post a picture of Speccy on here so we can see your system setup

Than you might want to consider the fact that the GPU might be bad. /= poor 970.

Download furmark and give it a stress test.

It's fine, it comes with a 128MHz OC from Gigabyte. The voltage that they set was very slightly too low for the OC and it showed artifacting in some more finicky titles like Planetside 2 and BeamNG. Reducing the OC 10MHz solved the artifacting issues. I'm sure I could've also boosted the voltage, but I wasn't in the mood to muck around going upwards at the time.
