I'm only getting 15 fps on the grid map, no mods whatever just standard game just installed on SSD.

    CPU: i7 4710HQ 2.5 GHz (up to 3.4GHz, shouldn't be needed(????) )
    GPU: GeForce GTX 860M 2gb GDDR5
    RAM: 16 GB DDR3

    At low settings. (like, wtf?)

    Help plos.

Your tablet is thermal throttling, design flaw with all tablets. I know it is a laptop, but the insides are a tablet form-factor to accommodate the GTX 860M

Can you run a program that shows the CPU and GPU temperature, and post screenshots at their peak temperature here?

Also, you would get a better response here: http://www.beamng.com/forums/computer-hardware.40/

Actually he has posted in the correct section.

@Venlonaer , when pausing the physics (press J), does your FPS go up? Also, in your options screen, does your graphics device show up properly?

Weird stuff, just read some about it. Not sure if that's the problem?
I tried running it at max lol, nothing really happens to CPU and GPU temp.

It actually does, after enabling physics it's buttery smooth but only 1-2 seconds.
And yes, I have the correct graphics device (always select manually on startup of every application)

So that means my CPU is bad?

The lag could be because of the CPU yes. However, there are other things that may be the cause. Is your computer on any sort of power saving plan, or running on battery power?

It was plugged in, but I always change the power setting manually.
