The intake for the rear end is not done yet.



Fixed UV error

 

I feel the rear-end is a bit too round. But again, this is a unique project based on a time period full of experimentation.

 

Can't wait for this, it just looks so good!

 

I figured I'd make the intake fairly simplistic.





Reworked just a little and fixed reversed normals.

I watched through some old retro binoculars my friend had given me.

well at least there are tons of images you can see on the internet.

watching it with your bare eyes was pretty lame anyway, it was really dark and hard to see it. at least in eastern Canada.

 

325 Km/h Top speed now...

Reduced gearbox to 4 gears

Had to reduce max torque by 85 or so which vastly improved the handling and the acceleration is still astonishing.

 

Can't wait for this awesome mod, looks so fun to drive!

 

I plan to release an early beta soon...


However despite my efforts to improve upon the stability may I still recommend to at least use a controller if you want to have satisfying reflexes.


[It however drives in a mostly straight line right up until you exceed about 275+km/h]

 

I got a $9 controller from cash converters so that's ok, and my pc

do you know what cash converters is?

Custom Sound with 11 different sound files played along the RPM range has been made for the new sound system.

All are made to have the least amount of clicks and pops possible [only took 3-5hrs to make due to expirmentation]

 

Woo! This looks like the first mod that's taking advantage of the new system.
Keep up the good work!

 

Wheels are a bit too shiny and bright. I can't see shiny chrome-like wheels on a race car, even though they are the normal wheels in game.

How is the suspension work going? Does it still wander left and right at high speeds?
