I've been working on changing up Mitch's B-25 and, while still very early in the project, I'd like to know if it's possible to configure keys that control one engine and keys that control the other, just so I don't get my hopes up for nothing. Is it?
Technically speaking any aircraft has a separate throttle lever for each engine. They also have mixture and propeller pitch axis, but that's too complex for (And not very useful in) BeamNG.drive
I don't think so, because the game doesn't recognize it as 2 separate engines. Think of the propellers as wheels, each powered by the same "engine".
Okay, now I get you, but yeah, Muti-Throttle-Muti-Engine setups are not really supported for big machinery at this moment in time.
Mixture you cant do alot about, theres little benefit to it in BeamNG anyway. propeller pitch could hypothetically be done with hydros and some lua. Split throttles though, dont think so. I would like multi-engine support.
I don't think I was clear, I was saying that pitch and mixture wouldn't be much use in BeamNG, but multi-engined throttle is useful for turning in big planes.
