Designing a very small and somewhat evil CPU instruction set. Right now it possesses just 7 instructions, well, 8 if you count nop.

Downloading Windows 10 to my grandpas laptop right now, and the internet is like really fast, 40 down 10 up.
That's about 5 times fastr than mine, up and down.
Only started the download three minutes ago and it's already 25% done. :O

Yay, so it wasn't down after all.
I guess now we can stop the "Yes it is No it isn't" arguement.
    --------------------------
So it's half way done preparing for installation on the laptop.I really didn't expect it to be this fast to be honest, I thought it was gonna take 2 hours to download.

Well, I was looking around Craigslist, and there's a 1967 Volvo 1800S for sale near me for a reasonable price. Apparently the drivetrain is in good condition, though the brakes need work. The interior is faded and definitely not new, but it looks usable. My only concern is what appears to be rust bubbles on the right side. Could I have some opinions on what the condition's like? http://madison.craigslist.org/cto/5178647192.html

I'd recommend asking if he could send you some higher quality photos. Craigslist limits the quality.

Go take a look at it yourself if you're really interested. Looks to be in pretty decent condition.
You could grind the rust out of the body panels, reupholster the interior both for not a whole lot of money and raise the value of the car significantly. Both of those take a lot time and patience though.
The engine looks pretty tired, so I'd think about rebuilding it, but that's up to you.

We currently have to sell a bed that's taking up a bunch of space in our garage to have room for another car, so we're not quite ready to do that. The hope is that it will still be for sale when the bed is sold, at which point we can go and look at it.

I'm in the Gulf of Mexico currently heading back home from vacation. I visited Cozumel, Mexico, Belize City, Belize, and Roatan, Honduras. I'll upload a few pictures when I get back home, it'll take a couple days to get back to Galveston and drive back to Austin. I should be home by Sunday afternoon.

    Evil huh?

X86 is eviler for sure. The word length, after all these years, is STILL 16 frigging bits. Yes, even on AMD64. Why don't people just use ARM?

I would like an emulator pls. Maybe I'll make the first operating system.
